Indian Hotels breaks 755 on Q2 results and guidance raise

Indian Hotels Q2 FY27 profit rose 19.4% to Rs 380 crore and the stock trades above Rs 755, with resistance at Rs 800 and support at Rs 700. The Indian Hotels Company Limited [

INDHOTEL
] rose 2.38% to Rs 770.95 on 22 October and traded above the Rs 755 resistance, a day after its Q2 FY27 results. Consolidated profit rose 19.4% to Rs 380 crore from Rs 318.3 crore. Revenue grew 21.7% to Rs 2,484.3 crore from Rs 2,040.9 crore. Operating EBITDA rose 24% to Rs 706 crore. The company raised its FY27 revenue growth guidance to 15% to 17% from 12% to 14%. The upgrade in guidance supports the breakout. The chart shows price stuck below Rs 755 since July, with several rejections near that level. Today’s move above it, with a high of Rs 776, is a break of that ceiling. The trend turns from sideways to positive while price trades above Rs 755. Resistance is Rs 800. Support is Rs 700. A close below Rs 755 would turn the breakout into a failed move. A close above Rs 800 would extend the positive trend. Volume near Rs 800 will be the key signal here. A fade on thin volume would show sellers remain active. DISCLOSURE: I do not hold any position in this stock. This is not a recommendation to buy or sell.
