Berger Paints India Ltd upcoming Q2 FY27 results

BERGEPAINT
Berger Paints India’s newsflow was led by its upcoming Q2 FY27 results, a new price hike plan, and a technical “death cross” signal, with the stock trading around ₹470–475 intraday. The board will meet on 5 November 2026 to approve Q2 and H1 FY27 results, after Q1 FY27 reported revenue of ₹3,584 crore (up 12% YoY) and net profit of ₹405 crore (up 29% YoY), with EBITDA margin at 16.9%. Berger is planning a 3–4% price increase across products starting late October to early November to offset higher crude‑linked input costs, following similar moves by peers like Asian Paints and Kansai Nerolac. The company has also commenced commercial production at its new ₹188 crore Hindupur facility in Andhra Pradesh, adding 36,000 kilolitres of annual capacity, as part of its broader expansion to counter competition from Birla Opus and JSW Dulux. Technically, the stock has formed a “death cross” (50‑DMA crossing below 200‑DMA), signalling a potential bearish trend, and MarketsMojo has downgraded it to “Hold” with a Mojo Score of 50.0. The stock was trading around ₹470–475 on 21 October, up about 24% over the past year, with a 52‑week range of roughly ₹380–500.
