$GTPL faces ongoing regulatory challenges with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) demanding ₹9,754.15 million in license fees from the parent company, which is treated as a contingent liability, and an additional ₹3,568.71 million from its subsidiary that is also under contest. The company and its subsidiary are actively contesting these demands. The new Labour Code impact added ₹16.20 million in employee costs for the standalone entity and ₹28.96 million for the consolidated entity.
