KEC
KEC International secured substantial orders worth ₹2,872 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for the design, supply and installation of 765 kV transmission lines, supporting Gujarat renewable-energy evacuation. The company also energised a 191.4 km stretch of the 765 kV Beawar Transmission Line in Rajasthan on October 23, and won new orders worth ₹1,006 crore across its businesses the same day. Earlier in October, KEC secured ₹1,014 crore in India T&D orders (including its first 765 kV line for a pumped-storage-plant evacuation) and ₹1,030 crore across T&D, renewables and cables. On the market side, shares rose 0.5% on October 29, with technical analysts eyeing a breakout above ₹900 toward ₹950–970; the company’s board will meet on November 2 to approve unaudited Q2 and H1 FY27 results, with an earnings call on November 3 at 10:00 AM IST. Management also flagged plans to more than double Southeast Asia sales as PGCIL and West Asia orders slow, with the current order book above ₹10,400 crore, about half from PGCIL.
