Juniper Hotels: ₹248 Cr Acquisition to Strengthen Portfolio

has announced a ₹248 crore proposal to acquire the 287-key Novotel Imagicaa hotel in Khopoli, Maharashtra, following approval from its Board. The acquisition would add a sizeable operating hotel to Juniper’s portfolio and strengthen its presence in the Mumbai–Pune corridor, one of the key leisure and business travel markets in the region. The proposed acquisition is in line with Juniper’s strategy of expanding its portfolio through operational, cash-generating hospitality assets rather than relying only on new hotel development. The 287-key property offers immediate operating capacity and could provide Juniper with an opportunity to benefit from improving occupancy, room rates and ancillary revenues as travel and tourism demand grows. Importantly, the transaction is proposed to be completed without issuing new shares, meaning there will be no direct equity dilution for existing shareholders.
