1. Royal Enfield expansion: Eicher has approved ₹1,225 crore for a new greenfield plant in Andhra Pradesh. Phase I can add 4.5 lakh motorcycles annually, taking total Royal Enfield capacity toward approximately 24.5 lakh units by FY30. 2. Strong August sales: Royal Enfield sold 1.26 lakh motorcycles in August 2026, up 11% YoY. The sub-350cc segment grew around 15%, while VECV sales increased nearly 18%. This suggests that the strong Q1 momentum has continued into the current quarter. 3. EV opportunity: Royal Enfield has started customer deliveries of its first electric motorcycle, Flying Flea C6. This gives Eicher an additional growth avenue, although EV contribution is still at an early stage. 4. International growth: Royal Enfield's exports have been expanding, while the brand continues to build its presence in international premium motorcycle markets. FY26 exports were already above 1.2 lakh motorcycles. 5. VECV: VECV is another important part of the Eicher story. Q1 revenue rose 16.6% to ₹6,610 crore, with its highest-ever Q1 sales. The business also maintains a strong position in light/medium commercial vehicles.
