SEBI gave its final observation/approval on September 4, 2026. 📅 Key IPO details IPO opens: September 17, 2026 IPO closes: September 21, 2026 Expected listing: around September 24, 2026 Price band: ₹1,700–₹1,785 Issue type: 100% Offer for Sale (OFS) Shares offered: about 12.64 crore Expected issue size: roughly ₹21,500–₹22,600 crore Expected valuation: up to around ₹4.42 lakh crore NSE itself will not receive the IPO proceeds because existing shareholders are selling their shares. 🟢 Why NSE IPO is attractive NSE has an extremely strong competitive position in India's capital markets. It dominates equity derivatives trading and operates the Nifty 50, India's benchmark index. Its Q1 FY27 performance was also strong: Revenue from operations: ₹4,560 crore, +13% YoY Net profit: ₹3,120 crore, +6.7% YoY This makes NSE one of the most profitable financial-market infrastructure businesses in India.
