VSSL announces INR 475 Crore Investment
Vardhman Special Steels Limited (VSSL), a leading producer of special steels in India, announced a significant investment of ₹475 crore to establish a steel forging and machining manufacturing facility in Ludhiana, Punjab. This strategic expansion, in collaboration with Aichi Steel Corporation, marks VSSL's entry into value-added automotive components and forward integration of its steelmaking operations. The new facility aims to enhance product quality, supply reliability, and customer alignment, adhering to Japanese quality standards. VSSL, incorporated in 2010, caters to diverse industries such as automotive, engineering, and tractors, and serves international markets including Thailand, Germany, and Japan. The company’s advanced manufacturing facilities and partnerships with renowned global corporations like Toyota, Maruti, and Hyundai position it as a key player in the automotive supply chain. This investment is expected to strengthen VSSL's value proposition and drive long-term growth.
