ZOTA raises 350 crore through QIP
On December 24, 2025, Zota Health Care Limited, a leading generics pharmacy retailer in India, announced raising Rs 350 crores through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue, allotting 22,80,130 equity shares at Rs 1,535 per share to prominent investors such as Valiant Partners, 360 ONE, and others. The funds will be utilized to expand its nationwide network of Davaindia stores, aiming to establish over 5,000 stores by March 2029, including Company-Owned Company-Operated (COCO) and Franchisee-Owned Franchisee-Operated (FOFO) models. Currently, Zota operates 2,253 Davaindia stores, offering affordable generic medicines to enhance accessibility.
