Titan Company Shares in Focus After Strong Q2 Results
TITAN Company Ltd. has attracted significant investor attention after reporting a strong financial performance for the second quarter of FY2026-27. The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹2,393 crore, marking an impressive 113.7% increase compared with ₹1,120 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations also registered healthy growth, rising approximately 10% year-on-year to ₹20,614 crore. The company's performance was supported by continued demand across its jewellery, watches and eyewear businesses. Its jewellery segment remained a major contributor, while the watches and eyewear divisions also delivered encouraging growth. The management expects consumer demand to improve further during the festive season, which could support business momentum in the coming quarters. Another important development is the planned retirement of Noel N. Tata as Vice-Chairman and Director, effective November 12, 2026. The company has also received board approval to raise up to ₹2,500 crore through non-convertible debentures. From an investor's perspective, Titan's strong profitability, established retail presence and festive-season opportunities remain important factors to monitor. However, fluctuations in gold prices, consumer demand and overall market sentiment could influence the stock's near-term performance.
