AU Small Finance Bank's Q2 net profit surges 53%

The bank has reported a 52.92% jump in its net profit at Rs 857.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, as compared to Rs 560.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income increased by 22.17% to Rs 6,381.99 crore for Q2FY27 as compared to Rs 5,223.87 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Outlook: - Interest Income Rs. 5,612 crore (up from Rs. 4,511 crore YoY) - Gross NPA improved to 1.99% (down from 2.41% a year ago) - Net NPA improved to 0.81% (down from 0.88% a year ago) - Net Interest Margin Improved to 5.8% from 5.5% a year ago - Despite the stellar 53% jump in net profit, share price slumped
