Bharti Airtel Net Profit Jumps 31% in Q2FY27
Bharti Airtel delivered strong financial growth in Q2FY27, with consolidated net profit rising 31% year-on-year to ₹8,887 crore. Revenue also increased 16.7% to ₹60,887 crore. But what is driving this growth? The company is gaining from increasing demand for mobile data, premium customers and expansion in its home broadband and enterprise businesses. One important highlight is its Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), which increased to ₹271 from ₹256 a year ago. This means Airtel is earning more revenue per customer. Its average monthly data consumption also increased 28.8% to 36.5 GB per customer, showing how rapidly data usage is growing. However, rising network maintenance costs and licence fees remain important challenges. Nifty 500 Stock in Focus: Bharti Airtel Ltd.
