Agrochemicals company Sumitomo Chemical India announced Q2FY27 results Consolidated Financial Highlights: Revenue from operations stood at Rs 9,073.09 million for Q2FY27, showing a sequential QoQ drop of 14.67% over Rs 10,633.46 million in Q1FY27 and a YoY decrease of 2.42% compared to Rs 9,298.15 million in Q2FY26. For H1FY27, consolidated revenue from operations reached Rs 19,706.55 million, a decline of 0.80% YoY against Rs 19,865.94 million in H1FY26. Total income reached Rs 9,608.96 million for Q2FY27, registering a sequential QoQ fall of 13.48% relative to Rs 11,106.30 million in Q1FY27 and a YoY drop of 0.80% over Rs 9,686.17 million in Q2FY26. For H1FY27, consolidated total income registered at Rs 20,615.26 million, down marginally by 0.13% YoY from Rs 20,641.82 million in H1FY26. Profit before tax (PBT) arrived at Rs 2,101.67 million for Q2FY27, falling sequentially by 19.58% QoQ over Rs 2,613.45 million in Q1FY27 and down YoY by 11.64% compared to Rs 2,378.47 million in Q2FY26. For H1FY27, consolidated PBT recorded at Rs 4,984.08 million, gaining 4.17% YoY against Rs 4,784.39 million in H1FY26. Profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 1,674.04 million for Q2FY27, demonstrating a sequential QoQ contraction of 21.96% from Rs 2,145.14 million in Q1FY27 and a sequential YoY reduction of 5.83% from Rs 1,777.63 million in Q2FY26. For H1FY27, consolidated PAT turned out to be Rs 3,719.18 million, representing a 1.66% YoY uptick compared to Rs 3,658.59 million in H1FY26. Earnings per equity share (EPS) for basic and diluted standards stood at Rs 3.14 for Q2FY27, tracking down sequentially from Rs 4.30 in Q1FY27 and down YoY from Rs 3.56 in Q2FY26.
