) turns ex-dividend today, September 16, for a final dividend of ₹0.75 per equity share for FY2025-26.
The company had recommended the ₹0.75 dividend in May, with September 16 set as the record date, subject to shareholder approval.
Zodiac Energy operates in the solar-energy business and has been expanding its project portfolio. The company recently reported FY26 revenue of ₹543.5 crore, up 33% year on year, while EBITDA rose 50% and PAT increased 36%.
My view
Today's ex-dividend date is a corporate-action event, not by itself a fundamental change in the business. The more relevant point for me is whether the company's solar project growth can continue alongside improving profitability.
I would watch the next project additions, order-book growth and execution. Those factors will matter more for the longer-term thesis than the ₹0.75 dividend.
Disclosure: I do not hold any position or have any interest in Zodiac Energy Limited as of the time of posting.
