Infosys – Technical Analysis, Support and Resistance
The stock
INFY
is still in a long-term bearish structure but the stock has shown a sharp short-term recovery from the ₹980–1000 zone. On the daily chart price has been making lower highs and lower lows since the ₹1700+ area. The latest session closed at ₹1035 with a 4.11% gain, supported by higher volume of around 15.17 million shares.
Support & Resistance:
Immediate support is around ₹1000–1010. The stronger support zone is ₹980–990 which was recently tested and held. If ₹980 breaks decisively the next downside support can come near ₹950–960. On the upside ₹1045–1060 is the first resistance zone. Above this ₹1100–1120 and ₹1160–1180 can act as further resistance. Current technical data also places the 20-day EMA near ₹1045 and 50-day EMA near ₹1082 making these important recovery levels.
Short-Term Buyers & Holders View:
For short-term buyers, ₹1000–1010 is an important zone to monitor. A sustained breakout above ₹1060 with strong volume can improve the short-term structure and open room toward ₹1100–1120. If price fails to sustain ₹1000 and breaks below ₹980 the recent recovery can weaken.
