Ipca Laboratories rebounds 5.9% from exit level
IPCALAB Ipca Laboratories Limited closed 5 November 5.9 percent above the 16 October close that triggered my exit. The board was due to consider Q2 FY27 results on 5 November, and I found no outcome in the sources I could reach. Last reported quarter, Q1 FY27 (consolidated): Revenue: Rs 2,788.10 crore, up 20.8% YoY from Rs 2,308.85 crore EBITDA: Rs 637.94 crore; margin 22.9%, against 18.4% a year earlier PAT: Rs 401.89 crore, up 72.3% YoY, attributable to owners My 17 October post recorded the exit on a close below Rs 1,880. A rebound alone is not a re-entry, and I found no company event behind this one. Ipca Laboratories [IPCALAB][***** closed at Rs 1,916.91 on 5 November on StockGro (NSE Rs 1,949.60 at 3:51 PM), 5.2 percent below its 52-week high of Rs 2,021.97. P/E 34.7; sector P/E near 45. My view: stay out until the Q2 print. The exit still stands; a rebound does not reverse it. The exchange print is above the Rs 1,889 to 1,920 zone I named on 8 October, while StockGro’s close sits inside it, so the signal is not clean. Re-entry needs three things at once: Q2 revenue growth near 12 percent or better, an EBITDA margin near 23 percent, and a close back above Rs 1,889 on the NSE. Any re-entry fails on a close below Rs 1,880. What would change my mind: a Q2 print that meets both growth and margin markers, or a named company event behind the 16 October fall, which I did not find. Next trigger: Q2 FY27 results, board date 5 November per the exchange intimation; outcome not yet sourced.
