AADHARHFC
Bets on Small-Town Expansion for 20% Growth

Supported by a solid capital adequacy ratio exceeding 40%, Blackstone-backed

AADHARHFC
has sufficient funds to fuel its planned annual loan growth of 20–22% and branch network expansion without needing to raise new capital for at least the next four years. Expanding Footprint in Smaller Markets: To sustain growth and capture higher risk-adjusted spreads, the housing finance firm plans to open roughly 50 new branches during FY27 to extend its current 628-branch network. About 70% of these new locations will focus on emerging markets like talukas and district centers, with key focus states including Gujarat. Stable Asset Quality and Balanced Portfolio: Despite a seasonal uptick in the gross non-performing asset (GNPA) ratio to 1.31% in Q1, management expects it to stabilize around 1.08–1.10% by year-end. The lender maintains a retail-focused portfolio—split roughly 70:30 between primary home loans and loans against property (LAP)—backed by highly stable cheque bounce rates. Underestimated Affordable Housing Demand: Management highlights that traditional real estate research fails to capture true affordable housing demand because it ignores self-construction, secondary market transactions, and LAP segments, which form a major share of lower-income household borrowing. Government Support and Structural Challenges: While the PMAY 2.0 interest subsidy scheme is well-designed and beneficial for tier-II and tier-III borrowers, the key obstacle in affordable housing remains rising land costs and supply shortages. Addressing this requires continued government intervention via subsidized land and public-private partnerships.

Close crossing last Month High Strategy

Close crossing last Month High Strategy

AADHARHFC
is trading near its previous month high. • This strategy focuses on stocks that close above the previous month’s high, which often signals fresh momentum and strong buying interest. • A decisive close above this level indicates that the stock is breaking a key resistance zone, potentially starting a new upward trend. • Traders usually look for strong volume, market support, and the stock trading above important moving averages to confirm the breakout strength. • For risk management, many traders place a stop loss slightly below the breakout level while aiming to capture short to medium-term momentum moves. Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd. – SWOT Analysis

AADHARHFC
Strengths Strong position in the affordable housing finance segment, primarily serving low- and middle-income borrowers in semi-urban and rural India. Robust business growth with AUM increasing about 20% YoY to ₹30,571 crore and record quarterly disbursements in FY26. Healthy profitability with FY26 PAT up 22% YoY, supported by strong loan growth and operational efficiency. Excellent asset quality, with Gross NPA around 1.08%, reflecting prudent underwriting and efficient collections. Funding costs and net interest margins remain sensitive to interest-rate movements. Promoter shareholding has declined over recent periods, which investors should monitor. Housing finance is a regulated business requiring continuous capital to sustain high growth. Opportunities Rising demand for affordable housing supported by urbanization, increasing household formation, and government housing initiatives. Large underpenetrated mortgage market in Tier-2, Tier-3, and rural India offers significant long-term growth potential. Digital loan origination and analytics can improve operational efficiency and customer acquisition. Lower interest rates could boost loan demand and improve affordability. Several brokerages expect improving growth, margins, and valuations across the affordable housing finance sector. Threats Rising competition from banks, housing finance companies, and fintech lenders. Economic slowdown or higher unemployment could increase loan delinquencies. RBI regulatory changes affecting capital requirements or lending norms. Persistent high interest rates could reduce home loan demand and compress margins. Investment View Positives ✅ Strong AUM and earnings growth. ✅ Excellent asset quality with low NPAs. ✅ Leadership in affordable housing finance. ✅ Granular and secured loan portfolio. ✅ Attractive long-term growth opportunity in India's housing sector.
