The Bank of Maharashtra Limited (the Bank) is engaged in providing banking services. The Bank's segments include Treasury, Corporate/Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and Other Banking Operations. The Treasury segment includes investment, balances with banks outside India, interest accrued on investments and related income. The Corporate/Wholesale Banking Segment includes all advances to trusts, partnership firms, companies, and statutory bodies. The Retail Banking Segment includes exposure to the individual person/persons or to a small business. The Other Banking Operations segment includes all other banking transactions. Its products and services include e-payment taxes, credit cards, doorstep banking, and a new pension scheme, among others. The services of the Bank include corporate banking, deposits, loans, digital banking, and government schemes. The subsidiary of the Bank is The Maharashtra Executor & Trustee Co. Pvt. Limited.

Interest Earned for Q1FY27 is Rs. 8,035 Crs., 13.9% growth YoY, Net Interest Income is Rs. 3,770 Crs., 14.53% growth YoY, Total Income is Rs. 9,064 Crs., 15% growth YoY, Pre-Provisioning Operating Profit is Rs. 3,118 Crs., 21.29% growth YoY, PBT is Rs. 2,277 Crs., 33.72% growth YoY, Net profit is Rs. 2,021 Crs., 26.83% growth YoY. For Q1FY27 Gross NPA 1.45% vs 1.74% in Q1FY26, Net NPA 0.13% vs 0.18% in Q1FY26. Return on Assets is 1.90% improved marginally by 20 BPS YoY, return on Equity is 24.65% improved by 165 BPS YoY, However, Net Interest Margin is 3.79% declined by 16 BPS YoY. On QoQ basis Interest Earned has achieved 3.6% growth, Net Interest Income has grown by 1.82%, Total Income has grown by 4.26%, Pre-Provisioning Operating Profit has grown by 5.8%, but PBT grown negatively by 2.25%, PAT is grown flat by 0.3%. Bank of Maharashtra has reported its results for the first quarter ended 30 June, 2026 (Q1FY27)

The bank has reported a 26.84% rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 2,020.19 crore for the quarter ended 30 June, 2026, as compared to Rs 1,592.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of bank increased by 15.03% to Rs 9,063.29 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 7,878.82 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. On a consolidated basis, the bank has reported a 34.50% jump in its net profit at Rs 2,023.32 crore for Q1FY27, as compared to Rs 1,504.37 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of bank increased by 15.03% to Rs 9,063.53 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 7,879.18 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
