ANUPAM RASAYAN ACQUIRES STAKE IN BLISS GVS PHARMA

has completed the acquisition of a 48.2 percent controlling stake in Bliss GVS Pharma for a total acquisition outlay of Rs 1,750 crore, marking it's third strategic inorganic transaction, as the Surat-based company expands into finished pharmaceutical formulations. Bliss GVS is a branded formulations company with more than 150 brands across therapeutic segments and having six manufacturing facilities across Maharashtra. This acquisition will strengthen Anupam Rasayan's presence in finished pharmaceutical formulations and give expertise in key starting materials, intermediates as well as specialty chemicals. The company has reported a sales growth of 24% CAGR in the last 5 years, and with such new acquisitions, it will improve the company's revenue in the coming years.
