Nifty Sits on Key Support; Deepak Fert Retests

GIFT Nifty is trading about 100 points higher at the time of writing. The dollar index has slipped below 102, the US 10-year yield has eased to near 5.22%, and Brent has come down from about $105 to around $103, together pointing to a positive opening. Nifty fell sharply yesterday. It did not breach 22,650 resistance, tested the 22,520 and 22,450 supports, made a new low of 22,179 and settled near 22,213, right on the horizontal support line on the chart. RSI at 22.54 is deeply oversold on the 30-minute chart, which raises the chance of a relief bounce, though the index still needs to reclaim resistance for that to build. Resistance: 22,390, then 22,500 and 22,800. Support: 22,179 (yesterday’s low), then 22,070 and 21,920. The pivot cluster for the day is 22,390-22,290. A sustained hold above 22,390 for at least half an hour could give the bulls some edge toward 22,500, while a break below 22,179 could open the way to 22,070 and then 21,920.

DEEPAKFERT
has pulled back to the trendline it broke earlier, which was resistance and is now being tested as support, near 1,380. RSI is at 59.33. Whether it resumes the upside from here or slips back into the triangle is what to watch. After a breakout, the pullback to the broken level shows whether resistance has turned into support. What price does there matters more than the breakout itself. Disclaimer:This is for educational purposes only and is not investment advice. Nifty Consolidates Post RBI; Deepak Fert in Focus

GIFT Nifty is trading flat at the time of writing, pointing to a flat to marginally soft opening. Nifty failed to breach the 22,740 resistance yesterday. The RBI's 25 bps rate hike was mildly bearish but largely discounted, so there was no major downside. The index traded between 22,640 and the 22,500-22,550 support zone, did not test 22,450, and ended near 22,615. The falling trendline near 22,700 is still capping the recovery. RSI at 47.99 is just below the midline, and the positive divergence on the hourly chart is still intact, which limits downside momentum for now. Resistance: 22,650, then 22,700 and 22,800. Support: 22,520, then 22,450. The immediate resistance for the day is near 22,650, with stronger resistance at 22,700. A move above 22,700 could open the way to 22,800. Until then, the index is likely to stay in a 22,520-22,650 range, and below 22,520 the 22,450 level comes into focus. The first half-hour will be important for the day's cue.

DEEPAKFERT
has moved above its falling trendline, with a clear volume buildup and RSI at 61.10 supporting the move. The stock is near 1,405, with 1,430 and 1,600 as higher reference levels. The broken trendline near 1,380-1,390 is the level to track on any pullback. A breakout backed by a volume buildup and supportive momentum carries more weight, but holding above the broken trendline is what confirms whether it can continue. Deepak Fertilisers jumps 6.8% near key resistance

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited shares rose 6.77% to Rs 1,385.60. Resistance is near Rs 1,400 and support is at Rs 1,270. Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited [

DEEPAKFERT
] shares rose 6.77% to Rs 1,385.60 on 6 October. The stock is now trading just below the Rs 1,400 resistance zone. The session opened at Rs 1,305.00, touched a low of Rs 1,296.40 and a high of Rs 1,391.90. Volume was higher than in recent sessions. The rise follows a pullback from its mid-year highs, and the stock has spent the past few weeks between Rs 1,270 and Rs 1,400. The RSI reads 52.24, above its average of 42.11, which shows momentum turning up from a weak base. One strong session does not show a trend change. The price has met the Rs 1,400 area before, and a failure to move above it would keep the stock in its range. A close above Rs 1,400 would bring higher levels into focus. A fall below Rs 1,270, the near-term support, would put lower levels in view. Watch both levels in the coming sessions. Neutral stance while price trades between Rs 1,270 and Rs 1,400. DEEPAKFERT Holds 200-Day SMA; ₹1,289 Key Support

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited

DEEPAKFERT
declined 3.71% on October 1 but held its 200-day SMA. Key support lies at ₹1,289–₹1,269, while ₹1,400 remains resistance. DEEPAKFERT declined 3.71% on October 1, 2026, but managed to hold above its 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA), a level widely tracked by market participants to assess the long-term trend. The stock had slipped below this average only once in recent months, on September 15, before rebounding from the same zone, indicating buying interest near support. Despite correcting more than 22% from its August 2026 52-week high, the stock continues to trade over 50% above its March 2026 52-week low, suggesting that the broader price structure remains intact. DEEPAKFERT is currently testing a crucial support area formed by the 200-day SMA near ₹1,289 and the recent swing low of ₹1,269. The ₹1,289–₹1,269 zone remains a key support area for the stock. Sustaining above this range may help stabilize the ongoing correction, while a breakdown could weaken the near-term outlook. On the upside, ₹1,400 remains the immediate resistance level to watch. Deepak Fertilisers finds support at a key retracement zone!

Deepak Fertilisers finds support at a key retracement zone Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (NSE: DEEPAKFERT) was trading around ₹1,365.90 on September 22. The stock has corrected about 24.5% from its recent top and is now finding support near the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement of the previous upmove. The Fibonacci support is also aligning with the weekly flat cloud, creating a technical support confluence. Daily RSI has formed a hidden bullish divergence, suggesting that momentum may be improving despite the recent price correction. Why it matters The ₹1,340-₹1,370 region combines Fibonacci support with weekly-chart support. This gives the setup a clearly defined area to monitor rather than relying only on the recent price decline. My view My view is that the reaction from ₹1,340-₹1,370 is important. A sustained rebound from this zone would strengthen the reversal setup, while a decisive break below support would weaken it.
