Dhanuka Agritech Ltd Company Fundamental Analysis

DHANUKA
Dhanuka Agritech Ltd is an Indian agrochemical company engaged in manufacturing and marketing crop-protection products, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, bio-pesticides and plant growth regulators. The company has a strong distribution network of approximately 6,500 distributors and 80,000 retailers, reaching more than 10 million farmer touchpoints. It also collaborates with global agrochemical companies from Japan, the US and Europe to introduce new technologies and products in India. Q2 FY27 results, announced on 30 October 2026, showed a recovery in business performance. Revenue from operations increased 9.91% year-on-year to ₹657.51 crore, while EBITDA grew 11.88% to ₹152.97 crore. Net profit increased 16.24% to ₹109.22 crore, indicating improvement in operating profitability. However, H1 FY27 revenue declined marginally by 0.63% to ₹1,119.44 crore, and H1 net profit fell 2.64% to ₹145.53 crore. This suggests that the Q2 recovery is encouraging, but the overall first-half performance remains relatively subdued. Management has guided for low-single-digit revenue growth for FY27 and expects EBITDA margin pressure of approximately 125 basis points. At approximately ₹980 per share, Dhanuka Agritech had a market capitalisation of around ₹3,900–4,400 crore and a trailing P/E of approximately 14.5–16.5x, depending on the data source and earnings update. ROE is around 17–19%, ROCE approximately 22–24%, and debt-to-equity just 0.02, indicating a strong balance sheet. The company is also expanding its international presence following the acquisition of Bayer AG's fungicide brands, which could support export growth. Overall, Dhanuka Agritech has a strong distribution network, low debt and reasonable valuation, but its near-term growth remains dependent on agricultural demand and monsoon conditions. The Q2 recovery is positive, though sustained revenue and margin improvement over the coming quarters will be important.
