DLF tests ₹634 support as momentum turns weaker

DLF
closed at ₹649 after rebounding from an intraday low of ₹634. The latest green candle shows buying interest at support, but it follows a series of lower highs from the ₹690 region and does not yet confirm a trend reversal. Price remains below the 20-day average at ₹657 and the 55-day average near ₹663. This moving-average band has turned into immediate resistance. MACD is below its signal line and the histogram remains negative, showing that short-term momentum is still with sellers. ₹634 is the immediate support to monitor. A break below it can bring the ₹620 zone into focus. On the upside, the stock must reclaim ₹657–₹663 to improve the near-term structure. Residential demand, launch execution, sales collections and interest-rate expectations remain key drivers for the real-estate sector.

Anant Raj signs cloud MoU with Haryana govt.

Anant Raj Limited (

ANANTRAJ
) unit Anant Raj Cloud and Orange Business Singapore have signed an MoU with the Haryana government. The pact aims to take the state’s cloud services to global markets. The memorandum of understanding involves Anant Raj Cloud and Orange Business Singapore. It focuses on expanding Haryana’s cloud services internationally. This supports the company’s data centre and digital infrastructure push. The key trigger is the MoU to take Haryana cloud services global. This could aid Anant Raj’s digital business visibility. Peers such as DLF, Prestige Estates and Oberoi Realty may see limited direct impact as the focus is specialised cloud infrastructure. Near-term prices could react positively to the expansion news. Risks include execution delays on global partnerships. Competitors listed: DLF, Prestige Estates, Oberoi Realty. We have no financial interest in this news.

Nifty Faces RBI Policy Day Amid Weak Cues

As anticipated in yesterday’s view, Nifty traded with a positive bias. It broke above the falling trendline in the previous session and extended the up-move yesterday, but fell short of the 22,809 test after clearing 22,650, making a high near 22,730 before closing near 22,720. RSI at 62.04 has moved well above the midline, with the positive divergence from the lows continuing to support the recovery. Resistance: 22,850, then 22,925. Support: 22,640, then 22,490. The pivot cluster for the day is 22,740-22,670. A sustained move above 22,740 could open the way to 22,850, with 22,925 as the extreme level. On the lower side, 22,640 is the support zone, and a sustained break below it could pull the index back toward the 22,500 area. The bias stays positive while 22,640 holds on a half-hour closing basis. Today's RBI policy adds event risk. GIFT Nifty is trading about 100 points lower at the time of writing, and Brent has recovered above $101, which keeps the inflation backdrop in focus. Rate-sensitive sectors are the ones to watch for reactions, including banks such as

HDFCBANK
, ICICI Bank and Kotak Bank, realty names such as DLF, Lodha and Oberoi Realty, and NBFCs. On event days, opening gaps and sector reactions often matter more than the prior session's trend, so key support and resistance levels deserve extra attention. India’s Services Sector Grows 13.5% in July 2026

India’s services sector demonstrated robust, broad-based growth in July 2026, with 17 out of 19 tracked sectors expanding, according to official data from the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). Analysis from CareEdge Ratings showed services output expanding 13.5% year-on-year, slightly accelerating from 13.2% in June. Overall, 10 sectors registered double-digit growth. Within the trial Index of Services Production (ISP)—which covers approximately 60% of India's services ecosystem—administrative and support services led the expansion with a 20.9% jump, closely followed by retail trade at 18.5%, real estate at 14.4%, accommodation and food services at 12.6%, and banking services at 12.3%. While overall momentum remained strong, certain key sub-sectors experienced moderation or contraction during the month. Growth in real estate output cooled to 14.4% from 24.7% in June, while wholesale trade eased to 12.1% from 15.1%. Moderate single-to-double-digit growth was recorded across telecommunications (11%), IT services (10.7%), professional/R&D services (10.4%), and road transport (9.9%), alongside water (7.7%) and railway transport (7.5%). Conversely, air transport contracted 8.4% and repair services fell 5%. CareEdge Ratings expects the services sector to retain its fundamental resilience, even as external volatility, fluctuating energy costs, and supply-chain frictions pose potential risks.
