MOMENTUM MANTRA DAILY RUN-UP 📅 14 July 2026

MOMENTUM MANTRA DAILY RUN-UP 📅 14 July 2026 🔔 Opening View Indian markets are likely to open on a negative note, with GIFT Nifty trading near 24,053, down around 190 points (-0.78%). Weak global cues and profit booking at higher levels may weigh on early sentiment, while the 24,000 zone will remain a crucial support level to watch. 📉📊 📈 Market Recap Nifty extended its gains for the third consecutive session, recovering from early losses as strong buying in IT stocks, led by TCS and other frontline technology names, outweighed weakness in metal, FMCG, and pharma stocks. Continued FII inflows also supported market sentiment despite lingering geopolitical concerns. 📊 📈 Nifty Key Levels ▪️ Support: 24,060 | 24,000 ▪️ Resistance: 24,260 | 24,300 💰 FII/DII Flow ▪️ FII: -₹3,062.27 crore ▪️ DII: +₹2,171.70 crore 📊 Options Positioning ▪️ PCR: 1.62 (Bullish) – Indicates aggressive Put writing and strong bullish positioning, reflecting improving market sentiment. 📈 ▪️ Resistance: 24,200–24,300 zone, with significant Call OI concentration and fresh Call writing likely to cap immediate upside. ▪️ Support: 24,100–24,000 zone, backed by strong Put OI concentration, providing immediate downside support. ▪️ Max Pain: 24,200 – Suggests Nifty may gravitate around this level ahead of expiry. 📊 ▪️ Interpretation: PCR at 1.62 reflects aggressive Put writing and strong bullish sentiment. However, the elevated PCR also suggests optimism is becoming stretched, increasing the possibility of consolidation or profit booking near the 24,200–24,300 resistance zone. A decisive move above 24,300 could trigger fresh short covering, while 24,100–24,000 remains the key support area to watch. 🏭 Sectoral Outlook 🟢 Bank Nifty – Positive Bias 🟢 PSU Bank – Positive Bias 🟢 Pharma – Positive Bias 🟢 Metal – Constructive 🟢 Energy – Constructive 🟢 Auto – Positive Bias 🟢 Realty – Constructive 🚫 F&O Ban List

Morning Market Insights:

Nifty is in the consolidation range and is expected to trade with neutral bias in the today’ session as well. The support for the index is around 23750 while above 24100 we may see some short covering in the markets. The volatility is expected to continue in the overall broader markets amid ongoing geo political issues. Bank Nifty have given some respite in the last trade after the selloff in the middle of the current trading week. The index is having crucial support zones of 56700-56800 below which the index 56500 is the next small support while 57800 remains resistance for the day. Results Today-

The Repair Economy Is Quietly Becoming a Growth Story

Everyone is focused on new product sales. The bigger opportunity may lie in extending the life of existing assets. As companies look to improve returns on capital, spending on repairs, retrofits and industrial upgrades is rising across factories, power plants and process industries. This creates recurring demand that is less dependent on fresh capex. Companies like

THERMAX
,
ABB
,
SIEMENS
,
CUMMINSIND
and
ELECON
could benefit as industries prioritize efficiency over expansion.

Elecon: Quality Infra Play

ELECON
Elecon Engineering looks like a strong, shareholder-friendly compounder rather than a high-risk story. Based on recent reported numbers, the business has shown steady growth, healthy margins, and a solid order pipeline, which supports long-term value creation for investors. Why it stands out In FY25, Elecon reported its highest-ever consolidated revenue of ₹2,227 crore, up 14.9% year on year, with PAT of ₹415 crore and PAT margin of 18.6%. EBITDA margin was 24%, and the company remained nearly debt-free on a net basis, with ROCE staying above 25% for the last three years. These are the kind of numbers that usually matter to long-term shareholders because they point to efficient capital use and strong operating discipline. Recent performance For Q2FY26, Elecon posted consolidated revenue of ₹578 crore, up 14% year on year and 18% quarter on quarter. EBITDA came in at ₹126 crore with a 21.7% margin, while PAT was ₹88 crore with a 15.2% margin. Order intake rose 28% year on year to ₹688 crore, and the order book stood at ₹1,226 crore, up 27% year on year. Shareholder impact For shareholders, this is beneficial if the company keeps converting order wins into earnings growth. The combination of strong demand from sectors like cement, steel, sugar, power, and infrastructure gives revenue visibility, and that lowers business risk. At the same time, the stock can still be volatile after sharp gains, so the main risk is valuation, not business quality.
