Gabriel India – Technical View, Support and Resistance

The stock

GABRIEL
is showing a medium-term bullish structure, but the stock is currently in a short-term correction after making a high near ₹1580. The stock rallied strongly from the ₹850–900 zone and formed higher highs and higher lows up to the August peak. After that price started making lower highs and lower lows indicating short-term selling pressure. Support: ₹1300–1320 is the immediate support zone. If this zone holds the stock can attempt a recovery. Below ₹1300 the next important support is around ₹1200–1250. Resistance: ₹1400–1450 is the immediate resistance zone. A sustained breakout above this area can improve the short-term structure and open the way towards ₹1500–1580. At the current level around ₹1346 the stock is close to support but has not yet confirmed a fresh bullish reversal. For buyers a strong move above ₹1400–1450 with good price strength would provide better confirmation. A breakdown below ₹1300 can increase downside pressure towards the next support zone.

6 Auto Ancillary Stocks That Dominate Their Niche

India’s auto ancillary industry has several companies with high market shares in specialised product categories, giving them a strong position within their respective niches. Key Players • Gabriel India: 88% market share in commercial vehicle suspension. • Asahi India Glass: 79% market share in passenger vehicle automotive glass. • Precision Camshafts: 70% market share in passenger vehicle camshafts. • Jamna Auto Industries: 65% market share in commercial vehicle leaf springs and suspension. • Carraro India: 60–65% market share in non-captive construction vehicle transmissions. • Suprajit Engineering: 60% market share in two-wheeler automotive cables. Why It Matters Auto ancillary companies often operate in highly specialised segments where technical expertise, established OEM relationships, manufacturing capabilities and product quality can create significant competitive advantages. High market share in a niche can indicate a company’s strong positioning within that particular product category. However, market leadership alone does not determine investment attractiveness—customer concentration, industry cycles, margins, valuation and the ability to maintain market share also matter. These six companies highlight how different auto-component manufacturers have built leadership positions across suspension systems, automotive glass, camshafts, transmissions and cables.

Gabriel India Makes a Strategic Move Beyond Suspension

GABRIEL
joint venture with South Korea-based HL Klemove is an interesting step because it takes the company beyond its traditional suspension business and into advanced mobility solutions. The JV will manufacture, develop and sell products such as radar systems, front cameras, lidar, automated driving and parking control units, along with embedded ADAS software. Gabriel India will hold 30% in the venture, while HL Klemove will hold 70%. What stands out to me is the direction of this expansion. Gabriel already has a strong presence in the automotive component space, but ADAS and autonomous driving technologies can open up a completely different growth opportunity as these features gradually become more common in Indian vehicles. The partnership also gives Gabriel access to HL Klemove’s technology and product capabilities instead of having to build everything internally from scratch. For me, this is important because the auto-component industry itself is moving from purely mechanical products towards electronics, software and intelligent mobility systems. The immediate financial contribution of the JV may not be the main point to track. I would rather watch how quickly these products get adopted by Indian OEMs, what kind of orders the venture receives and whether Gabriel can build a meaningful second growth engine from this segment.
