India’s Services Exports Surge to $421 Billion for FY26

India’s services exports maintained a strong upward trajectory in FY26, reaching ₹39.60 lakh crore (US$ 421.3 billion). According to Reserve Bank of India data, this growth was primarily driven by telecommunications, computer, and information services, which generated ₹19.42 lakh crore (US$ 206.6 billion) to account for nearly half of total exports, alongside business services, which contributed ₹11.67 lakh crore (US$ 124.2 billion) or 29.5%. In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada emphasized that the government is actively executing a multi-pronged strategy to address sector-specific challenges, broaden market reach, and bolster global competitiveness across knowledge-intensive industries. To sustain this momentum, the government has expanded market access through Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that facilitate cross-border trade, commercial presence, and international mobility for skilled professionals. These deals integrate provisions like Mutual Recognition Agreements, Social Security Agreements, and the removal of double taxation for IT services. Meanwhile, the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) is driving trade promotion via global exhibitions and targeted engagements across healthcare, education, logistics, tourism, legal, and digital sectors, ultimately reinforcing India's long-term economic development as a global services leader.

THEMATIC INVESTING---->AI Is Creating a New Opportunity That Most Investors Are Ignoring.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming businesses at an unprecedented pace. But as companies become more digital, they also become more vulnerable to cyberattacks. Today, protecting data has become just as important as creating it. That is why cybersecurity is no longer an IT expense—it is becoming a strategic business investment ##A Recent Example That Shows Why Cybersecurity Matters Cybersecurity is no longer just a technology issue—it has become a business risk. Recently, Tata Electronics, one of Apple's key suppliers in India, disclosed a cybersecurity incident after a ransomware group claimed to have leaked more than 200,000 confidential files on the dark web. The leaked data allegedly included engineering documents related to major global customers such as Apple and Tesla. Tata Electronics said it activated its response protocols immediately and stated that its manufacturing operations were not affected. Apple also initiated its own investigation into the incident. Why Is Cybersecurity Becoming So Important? Every day, businesses face threats such as: • Ransomware attacks • Data breaches • AI-powered phishing scams • Identity theft • Cloud security risks As organizations move their operations to the cloud and adopt AI, the need for advanced cybersecurity solutions continues to grow. ----->Indian Listed Companies to Watch Pure Cybersecurity Players •

##Why This Theme Could Be Long-Term Think about it this way: Every new AI application... Creates more data. More data... ------> Creates more cyber risk. More cyber risk... -----> Increases cybersecurity spending. In other words, AI and Cybersecurity are likely to grow together over the next decade. ------>Bottom Line Every company is becoming a technology company—and every technology company needs cybersecurity.

The Return of Cash-Rich Companies

While the market is chasing growth stories, cash on the balance sheet is quietly becoming valuable again. With global uncertainty rising and capital becoming more selective, companies with strong cash flows and low debt have greater flexibility to acquire assets, invest through the cycle, or return capital to shareholders. Investors may start rewarding balance-sheet strength as much as earnings growth. Companies like

and several large-cap industrials fit this theme.

IT Stocks Rally After Positive Global Tech Sentiment 💻📈

Indian IT stocks witnessed strong buying interest today as positive global technology sentiment and AI-related optimism boosted investor confidence. Stocks like INFY, TCS, and HCLTECH remained among the top market focus stocks during today’s trading session. The IT sector works like India’s global service engine. Indian technology companies earn a major portion of their revenue from international clients, especially from the US market. When global technology spending and AI adoption increase, Indian IT companies often benefit through stronger demand for digital services. One major reason behind today’s momentum was optimism around global AI growth and positive technology sector cues from international markets. A stable rupee and improving global risk appetite also supported buying interest in export-oriented IT companies. Investors are closely tracking global tech earnings, AI investments, and future demand trends. For investors, this situation highlights how international developments can directly impact Indian sector performance.
