Technical Evaluation: Radico Khaitan Ltd (RADICO) -

The stock

RADICO
is currently trading at 4535.4 and remains in a robust sustained uptrend on the daily timeframe. The price action demonstrates a consistent pattern of higher highs and higher lows following a massive rally from the 2400 base level. The overall chart structure is highly bullish. After peaking near the 4650 zone, the stock entered a shallow consolidation phase, showing resilience against selling pressure. Support Levels: Immediate short-term support is firmly established at 4400, where the recent bounce occurred. A secondary deeper structural support rests at the 4000 psychological level. Resistance Levels: The immediate upside hurdle is the prior swing high around 4,650. A daily close above this level would signal a fresh breakout and a continuation of the primary uptrend. Volume Structure: The volume profile validates the upward momentum. Buying days generally exhibit higher volume spikes compared to the lower volume observed during recent pullbacks, which indicates active accumulation rather than distribution.

RADICO

Radico Khaitan Ltd. was characterised by sustained upward momentum, with the stock hitting multiple 52-week and all-time highs. This performance was supported by a series of strong quarterly results, highlighted by a 76% profit surge and record operating cash flows. Institutional investors maintained a significant stake, increasing their holdings, which added stability and confidence to the stock’s trajectory. Derivatives market activity showed sharp increases in open interest and volume, signalling growing market positioning and directional bets. Despite some short-term profit-taking towards the week’s end, technical indicators remained predominantly bullish, with the stock trading above all major moving averages and supported by positive MACD and Bollinger Bands signals. Valuation metrics indicate a premium pricing, with high price-to-earnings and enterprise value multiples. However, these are balanced by strong earnings growth, efficient capital utilisation, and a robust balance sheet with low leverage. The company’s operational excellence and consistent earnings delivery underpin its market outperformance relative to the Sensex and sector peers.

RADICO

Radico Khaitan Ltd. is trading above all its major moving averages — the 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day. This comprehensive positioning signals a strong technical foundation underpinning the recent surge. The stock’s ability to hold above these key averages often reflects sustained buying interest and a bullish trend. The 50-day moving average, frequently regarded as a critical intermediate-term indicator, is comfortably below the current price, reducing the likelihood of immediate resistance from this level. This configuration contrasts with scenarios where a stock rallies but remains below some longer-term averages, which typically indicate a relief rally rather than a breakout. Here, the alignment of all moving averages below the price suggests the surge is a continuation of strength rather than a counter-trend bounce — does this technical setup support further upside or is the stock vulnerable to profit-taking?

Here, the alignment of all moving averages below the price suggests the surge is a continuation of strength rather than a counter-trend bounce — does this technical setup support further upside or is the stock vulnerable to profit-taking? Radico Khaitan Ltd. presents a predominantly bullish picture. The daily moving averages confirm the positive trend, while the weekly MACD and Bollinger Bands also signal bullish momentum. The Dow Theory readings on both weekly and monthly timeframes reinforce this positive outlook. However, the weekly RSI is bearish, and the monthly KST indicator is mildly bearish, introducing a subtle divergence in momentum signals. This split suggests that while short-term momentum is strong, some caution may be warranted as the stock approaches new highs. The weekly OBV remains bullish, indicating that volume supports the price advance. Taken together, these indicators suggest the surge is more than a fleeting bounce but also highlight the importance of monitoring momentum oscillators for signs of exhaustion.
