United Polyfab Gujarat Ltd Company Fundamental Analysis

UNITEDPOLY
United Polyfab Gujarat is a textile manufacturer primarily engaged in producing processed yarn and other textile products for domestic and international markets. The company operates in a highly competitive and cyclical industry where profitability depends on cotton and other raw-material prices, yarn realisations, export demand and capacity utilisation. Its relatively integrated manufacturing operations provide some control over production, but the business remains sensitive to textile-cycle fluctuations. FY26 revenue from operations was about ₹682 crore, while consolidated PAT was approximately ₹30 crore. The company started FY27 with better momentum: Q1 FY27 revenue increased 23% YoY to ₹179.85 crore and consolidated PAT rose 31.9% to ₹7.82 crore. However, operating margin declined from 9.14% to 6.90%, indicating that higher sales have not yet translated into proportionate operating-margin expansion. EBITDA for Q1 stood at ₹12.77 crore compared with ₹13.79 crore a year earlier. At the latest Groww snapshot, the company had a market capitalisation of about ₹989 crore, P/E of 36.23x, P/B of 7.46x, ROE of 18.31% and debt-to-equity of 0.80x. TTM revenue growth was around 23% and profit growth around 32%, but the valuation appears demanding relative to the textile industry's cyclical nature. Growth could come from higher utilisation, export opportunities and improved textile realisations, while key risks include cotton-price volatility, weak global textile demand, margin pressure, working-capital requirements and relatively high leverage. Overall, the company is showing healthy topline and profit growth, but sustaining margins and generating sufficient returns on its relatively leveraged balance sheet will be important to justify the current valuation.
