Business Expansion: Adani Energy Solutions has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Energy Solutions Step-Fifteen Limited, to focus on power transmission, distribution, and related services. The company has also established "Adani Electricity Puducherry Limited," marking its entry into the electricity sector in Puducherry. Operational Growth: Adani Green Energy's operational renewable portfolio has reached 15.8 GWAC as of June 30, 2025. This includes solar, wind, and hybrid assets. The company aims to increase its total capacity to 50 GWAC by 2030, with a long-term plan to develop a 30 GWAC project in Khavda, Gujarat. Acquisition and Project Development: Adani Group has received in-principle approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) to acquire up to 100% of the shareholding in debt-ridden Jaiprakash Associates (JAL). This would give the company access to JAL's real estate, commercial, and industrial properties, as well as cement plants. Additionally, Adani Energy Solutions has secured a new 7 GW renewable energy evacuation transmission network project.
