Q1 FY26 Financial Performance Adani Ports reported strong results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026. The company's consolidated net profit increased by 6.5% to ₹3,314.59 crore, while revenue from operations rose by 20.72% year-on-year to ₹9,126.14 crore. This growth was particularly driven by a doubling of revenue from the logistics segment and a near three-fold increase in marine services revenue. The company handled 121 million metric tonnes of cargo, an 11% increase, and its market share in Indian ports grew to 27.8%. New Projects and Strategic Acquisitions APSEZ continues to expand its domestic and international presence. The company has approved the acquisition of North Queensland Export Terminal (NQXT) in Australia, a move that is expected to help it reach its target of handling 1 billion tonnes of cargo annually by 2030. Other recent developments include the acquisition of Gopalpur Port in Odisha, the commencement of operations at the Colombo West International Terminal, and the incorporation of a new subsidiary in the UAE to expand its global investment reach in Africa and the Middle East. Corporate Developments In a significant leadership change, Gautam Adani has been re-designated as the Non-Executive Chairman. Ashwani Gupta has taken on the role of Whole-time Director and CEO. Additionally, the company's credit rating outlook has been revised to "Positive" by S&P Global Ratings, which reaffirmed the ratings at "BBB-". This positive change reflects improved financial health and confidence in the company's strategy.
