Q1 FY27 Volume Throughput Surge On July 13, 2026, CONCOR reported an 8.89% year-on-year increase in total volume throughput to 14.04 lakh TEUs (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Growth was anchored by the core EXIM (Export-Import) segment, which rose 9.78% YoY to 10.69 lakh TEUs, while domestic container volumes expanded 6.17% YoY to 3.35 lakh TEUs. 15-Year Green Logistics Partnership with GAIL On July 8, 2026, CONCOR executed a 15-year strategic agreement with GAIL (India) Limited to set up a dedicated retail Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) fueling station at its ICD Khodiyar terminal in Ahmedabad. Under the partnership, GAIL will build and operate the infrastructure across 3,000 square meters of land provided by CONCOR, while CONCOR has committed to deploying a dedicated fleet of 15 LNG-powered commercial vehicles to kickstart eco-friendly corridor operations. Leadership Transition & CMD Appointment The Ministry of Railways officially approved the appointment of Shri Ajit Kumar Panda as the new Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of CONCOR, effective August 1, 2026. Furthermore, the company announced executive additions including the appointment of Shri Anand Kumar as Group General Manager for a three-year term, providing long-term leadership stability. Annual FY26 Performance & Tank Container Fleet For the full financial year 2025–26, CONCOR recorded its highest-ever total volume of 5.58 million TEUs (+9.6% YoY), achieving an annual capital expenditure outlay of ₹1,085 crore. To expand bulk liquid and cement transport, the Board approved the procurement of 2,000 additional specialized tank containers, scaling up its total owned fleet to over 57,700 containers.
