POWERGRID
Upcoming Q4 FY26 Results & Dividend The company has scheduled its Board Meeting for May 16, 2026, to approve the audited financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2026. Along with the results, the board is expected to recommend a final dividend for FY26. This follows the two interim dividends already paid earlier in the fiscal year (₹4.50 in November 2025 and ₹3.25 in February 2026). Revised Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Targets Power Grid has significantly scaled up its investment roadmap. The CapEx guidance for FY26 was recently raised from ₹28,000 crore to ₹32,000 crore. Looking further ahead, the company has set ambitious targets of ₹37,000 crore for FY27 and ₹45,000 crore for FY28, reflecting a massive push in transmission infrastructure. Major Project Wins & Commissioning In April 2026, the company secured the Tumkur-II Transmission Project in Karnataka via the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route. This project is designed to integrate 2.7 GW of renewable energy into the national grid. Additionally, its subsidiary, POWERGRID Sikar Transmission, successfully commissioned a major project in Rajasthan for the evacuation of 8.1 GW of solar power. Asset Capitalization & Infrastructure Growth The company has officially surpassed the milestone of becoming a ₹3 trillion plus gross fixed asset company. For the first nine months of FY26, capitalized assets reached ₹12,915 crore, with a year-end target to exceed ₹22,000 crore. The total project pipeline to be commissioned over the next 3–4 years is estimated at approximately ₹1,95,000 crore. Strategic Debt Management To fund its aggressive expansion in renewable energy integration and HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) projects, the board recently approved raising up to ₹6,000 crore through the issuance of unsecured, non-convertible bonds. Despite the increase in borrowing, the company maintains a stable debt-equity ratio of approximately 59:41.
