Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd. Recent Updates

DIXON
Q3 FY25 Financial Performance: Dixon Technologies reported strong sales growth in the third quarter of the financial year 2025. Total income for the quarter was reported at approximately ₹10,453.68 Crore. The company's net profit for Q3 FY25 was approximately ₹171.19 Crore. A significant driver of revenue growth has been the Mobile & EMS division, which has rapidly expanded its scale. Focus on Backward Integration and Component Manufacturing: Dixon is aggressively pursuing a strategy of backward integration to deepen its manufacturing value chain. This involves shifting from mere final assembly to producing high-value components. The company has set a target to invest around ₹1,500 to ₹1,800 Crore over the next three years to support this capacity expansion and component manufacturing push. Strategic Joint Ventures and Acquisitions for Components: To support its component strategy, the company announced several major deals in July 2025: It signed a binding term sheet to acquire a 51% stake in Qtech India to manufacture camera and fingerprint modules for mobile phones, IoT systems, and automotive applications. It also formed a joint venture with Chongqing Yuhai Precision Manufacturing (Dixon holding a 74% stake) to produce precision mechanical and metal components for laptops, mobile phones, and automotive products. These additions supplement existing collaborations, such as the proposed JV with HKC for display modules (awaiting clearance) and the JV with Vivo India for smartphone assembly.
