Supreme Court Orders CBI Probe
On March 3, 2026, the Supreme Court ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into alleged irregularities at the DLF Primus (Garden City) residential project in Sector 82A, Gurugram. The court cited a "huge mismatch" between legal requirements and ground realities, specifically regarding access roads and infrastructure. The CBI is required to submit its independent findings by April 25, 2026. DLF has stated it acted in full compliance and will cooperate with the inquiry.
Q3 FY26 Financial Performance
For the quarter ending December 31, 2025, DLF reported a consolidated Net Profit of ₹1,203.36 crore, a 13.6% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Revenue from operations jumped 42% YoY to ₹2,020 crore. A significant highlight was the company reaching a zero gross debt status, bolstered by strong cash flows and a high net cash position. However, the stock has recently touched a 52-week low of ₹567.25 (March 4) due to broader sectoral pressure and margin concerns.
Sales Momentum and Guidance
The company achieved cumulative sales bookings of ₹16,176 crore for the first nine months of FY26. While Q3 sales bookings were relatively lower at ₹419 crore (excluding the mega-launch of The Dahlias), the company remains confident in meeting its annual sales guidance of ₹20,000–22,000 crore. Demand remains primarily driven by the luxury and super-luxury segments in Gurugram and Mumbai.
Portfolio Expansion and New Launches
DLF is actively expanding its footprint beyond its home base. Development work on its exclusive luxury villa project in Goa is expected to commence between March and April 2026. Additionally, the company is progressing with its re-entry into the Mumbai market via "The Westpark" in Andheri, a premium residential project. In the commercial segment, DLF is adding three new malls in Goa, Gurugram, and Delhi to its annuity portfolio.#StockInNews#WatchOutFor#EquityResearch#FundamentalViews#PersonalFinance
