GREENPLY
Financial Performance Greenply Industries' financial performance in Q1 FY26 was marked by a slight increase in revenue to ₹601 crore, a 2.9% rise year-on-year. However, the company's consolidated net profit saw a notable decline of 14.06%, falling to ₹28.42 crore. This drop was largely attributed to a loss from a joint venture. Despite this, the company's MDF segment showed strong growth, with revenue up 11.7% and a substantial increase in profit, while the plywood segment's sales volume experienced a modest decrease. Corporate and Business Developments Greenply is actively pursuing strategic growth. The company has begun manufacturing furniture fittings through its joint venture with Samet of Türkiye at its Vadodara plant. This partnership is a key part of its plan to expand its product portfolio and serve a new market. Greenply is also expanding its manufacturing footprint, with plans to set up a new plywood unit in Odisha. This project is expected to increase its capacity by approximately 25% and is targeted to be operational in the first quarter of FY27. Additionally, the company is focused on strengthening its distribution network and has recently appointed a new Chief Financial Officer.
