Q1 FY27 Financial Results On July 15, 2026, the company reported its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Consolidated net profit (PAT) rose 12% year-on-year to ₹837 crore, up from ₹748 crore in Q1 FY26. Revenue from operations grew 13.6% YoY to ₹1,100 crore, while total expenses during the quarter increased 27% to ₹271 crore due to higher employee benefits and a spike in non-cash ESOP charges. Asset Base Expansion & Market Share The firm's Quarterly Average Assets Under Management (QAAUM) crossed a milestone, growing 13% YoY to ₹9.35 lakh crore in Q1 FY27. This provides HDFC AMC with an 11.2% market share of the total Indian mutual fund industry. The company’s actively managed equity-oriented QAAUM (excluding index funds) reached ₹5.74 lakh crore, securing a higher 12.8% market share in the active equity segment. Portfolio Mix & Systematic Flows The company’s asset mix stands heavily equity-oriented at a 66:34 equity-to-non-equity ratio, compared to the broader mutual fund industry average of 57:43. Retail investor participation remained robust through systematic investment plans (SIPs); the fund house processed 17.2 million systematic transactions in June 2026 alone, with a total monthly value reaching ₹4,810 crore. The total live individual accounts reached 31.1 million. Management Operating Margin Guidance In its post-earnings disclosures, management reinforced a strict target net operating margin corridor of 33 to 35 basis points (bps) of AUM. Additionally, the company laid out a clear four-year glide path for its non-cash ESOP expenses, which are projected to peak at ₹79–80 crore in FY27 before tapering down sharply to ₹11 crore by FY30. Management explicitly refrained from providing speculative top-line growth forecasts. New Sustainability Strategy & ESG Rating Outside of quarterly financials, HDFC AMC launched its new sustainability-oriented portfolio management strategy called the "HDFC Growth for GOOD Portfolio".
