Key Recent Developments: Purchase Order for BharatNet Phase III: HFCL secured a purchase order worth approximately ₹157 crore for the supply of optical fiber cables for the BharatNet Phase III project in West Bengal from Tera Software Limited, a consortium partner of ITI Limited. Focus on Overseas Sales: HFCL has set an ambitious revenue target of ₹10,000 crore and is focusing on growth through exports and defense supplies. European Expansion: The company is expanding its global footprint in Europe and is establishing an optical fiber cable manufacturing facility in Poland. This move aims to cater to the growing demand in the European market and reduce transit times. HFCL is exempt from anti-dumping duties imposed by the European Commission on Indian optical fiber manufacturers.
