Leadership and Corporate Strategy Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced a significant leadership transition, naming Tarun Garg as its next Managing Director and CEO, effective January 1, 2026. This marks him as the first Indian to hold the top post since the company's entry in 1996. Additionally, Sunil Moolchandani has been appointed as the new Function Head – National Sales, responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening the company's network across India. 💰 Investment and Future Roadmap HMIL has unveiled an aggressive future roadmap with a commitment to invest ₹45,000 crores by FY2030. This capital will be directed towards product development, manufacturing expansion, and the EV ecosystem. The company plans to introduce 26 new models by 2030, including 7 new nameplates, 8 hybrid models, and a locally manufactured, India-specific electric SUV by 2027. HMIL is also aiming to establish India as a key global export hub, targeting up to a 30% contribution from exports by the end of the decade. 🚀 Product Launches and Sales Performance Bookings have opened for the all-new Hyundai Venue compact SUV, which is scheduled for launch on November 4th. The new model features a major design overhaul, including a split-headlamp setup, a wider grille, and a new dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display inside. Separately, Hyundai recorded its best-ever monthly sales in September 2025, with total sales reaching 70,347 units (domestic: 51,547 units; exports: 18,800 units). The SUV segment was the primary growth driver, contributing a record-high 72.4% to total domestic sales, led by the Hyundai Creta which achieved its highest-ever monthly sales figure.
