ICICIBANK
Q4 & Full-Year FY26 Financial Milestones ICICI Bank delivered a strong performance for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, with a standalone net profit rising 8.5% year-on-year to ₹13,702 crore. With this quarter, the private lender crossed a major milestone, recording an annual net profit of ₹50,147 crore for the full fiscal year 2025–26. Net Interest Income (NII) for the quarter grew 8.4% to ₹22,979 crore, maintaining a stable Net Interest Margin (NIM) of 4.32% Dividend Declaration & Fundraising Plans Following the robust full-year earnings, the bank's Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of ₹12 per equity share (face value of ₹2 each) for FY26, subject to upcoming shareholder approval. Additionally, the board approved a massive fundraising framework to support future capital requirements, clearing proposals to raise up to ₹25,000 crore via domestic debt securities and up to $1.5 billion through overseas bonds. Asset Quality and Provisioning The bank saw a sharp improvement in its asset quality metrics during the quarter. Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) fell to 1.40% compared to 1.67% last year, while Net NPA dropped to 0.33%. This improvement led to an 89% sequential plunge in provisioning for bad debts, which fell to just ₹96.2 crore from ₹2,556 crore in the preceding quarter due to higher recoveries and lower slippages. Credit Expansion & Network Growth Total advances grew by 15.8% year-on-year, reaching ₹15.53 lakh crore, led prominently by the rural portfolio (+25.6%) and business banking (+24.4%). Total deposits grew by 11.4% to ₹17.94 lakh crore, with CASA deposits matching the pace at 11.3% growth. To support this growth, ICICI Bank added 126 new branches in Q4 alone, pushing its total domestic network to 7,511 branches and over 12,000 ATMs.
