The company is evaluating strategic options to strengthen its capital base, as the microfinance arm faced stress with a reported loss of ₹39 crore in the first nine months of FY26. Additionally, the company is reportedly in exploratory talks with Piramal Finance regarding a potential deal in the microfinance space. Regulatory and Tax Matters On February 13, 2026, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) imposed a ₹5.30 lakh penalty on the bank for failing to properly classify certain accounts as non-performing assets (NPAs) during historical restructuring processes.
