Q1 FY27 Financial Performance & Revenue Growth On August 3, 2026, Jindal Stainless reported a 7.6% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit (PAT) to ₹769 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Consolidated net revenue from operations rose 10.5% YoY to ₹11,279 crore, with EBITDA climbing 1.5% YoY to ₹1,329 crore. Total finished goods sales volume reached 5,80,805 metric tonnes, supported by strong domestic demand across the automotive, white goods, and metro rail sectors. Operational Mitigation & Supply Chain Adaptation During Q1 FY27, the company faced operational headwinds stemming from geopolitical disruptions in the Middle East that restricted industrial gas availability (specifically propane and LPG). JSL successfully mitigated these constraints by ramping up the use of piped natural gas to maintain production stability across its manufacturing plants. Despite global trade pressures, exports remained steady, contributing 11% to the overall sales mix through expanded market outreach in South Korea, Japan, and Brazil. Sustainability & Decarbonization Milestones At its Hisar facility, JSL achieved a 12% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity (Scope 1 and Scope 2), lowering emissions to 0.65 tCO₂e per tonne of stainless steel produced. The reduction was driven by the commissioning of new energy-efficient centrifugal compressors, waste heat recovery systems, and partial operational integration of its 315.6 MW hybrid solar-wind renewable power project.
