Jyothy Labs reported its third-quarter financial results for FY26 on February 9, 2026, highlighting steady revenue growth alongside some pressure on profitability. Q3 FY26 Financial Performance Revenue & Volume Growth: The company recorded a 5.1% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue from operations, reaching ₹739.6 crore. Volume growth was even stronger at 7.2%, driven by a revival in General Trade and double-digit growth in Modern Trade and E-commerce. Profitability Dips: Net profit for the quarter fell by 7.2% YoY to ₹81.1 crore. This decline was largely attributed to a contraction in gross margins, which dropped to 46.5% (from 49.8% last year) due to elevated input costs and higher operational expenses. Operating EBITDA: The EBITDA margin stood at 15%, down slightly from 16.5% in the previous year. To manage costs, the company reduced its Advertisement and Sales Promotion (A&P) spend to 7.7% of revenue. Segment-Wise Performance Fabric Care: This remains the company’s strongest pillar, growing 9.2% in value. Growth was led by the Ujala and Henko brands, as well as the successful rollout of the new specialized liquid detergent, "Dr. Wool." Dishwashing: This segment saw a marginal value decline of 1.3%, though volumes grew by 7%. The mismatch was due to strategic pricing actions and increased promotions to remain competitive. Personal Care & Insecticides: Both segments showed robust double-digit revenue growth (10.9% and 12.6% respectively), with the Margo brand leveraging its "1000 neem leaves" heritage to expand into new formats. Recent Product & Corporate Updates New Launch: In late 2025, Jyothy Labs introduced "Dr. Wool," a premium expert liquid detergent for woolens and delicates, marking a strategic expansion into specialized garment care. Strategic Outlook: Management is focusing on achieving double-digit volume growth by scaling premium launches and improving "mix management" as commodity prices begin to stabilize.
