Kalyan Jewellers India Latest Updates

KALYANKJIL
Operational Expansion Kalyan Jewellers significantly increased its retail footprint during Q4, adding 28 new showrooms in India and 14 for its digital-first brand, Candere. As of March 31, 2026, the company operates a total of 507 showrooms globally, spanning India, the Middle East, the US, and the UK. Most recently, a new showroom was inaugurated in Ambernath, Maharashtra, on April 11. International & Digital Segments The international business saw a 45% revenue growth in Q4, despite temporary footfall disruptions in the Middle East during early March due to geopolitical factors. This was offset by strong sales during the final 10 days of Ramadan. Meanwhile, the digital platform Candere recorded explosive growth of over 360% in Q4, signaling a massive scale-up in the company’s e-commerce strategy. Current Import & Market Challenges As of April 17, shares of Kalyan Jewellers fell roughly 6% following reports of a gridlock in gold and silver imports. A regulatory hold-up at the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has caused a backlog of approximately 5 tonnes of gold at customs. This supply shortage is occurring just 48 hours before Akshaya Tritiya (April 19), one of the most critical gold-buying festivals in India Upcoming Corporate Actions The Board of Directors is expected to meet in May 2026 to formally approve the audited financial results and consider a final dividend recommendation for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. Current market expectations suggest a dividend in the range of ₹1.5 to ₹2 per share
