KAYNES
Q2 FY26 Financial Performance For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, Kaynes reported its strongest quarterly earnings to date. Net profit surged 102% year-over-year to ₹121.41 crore, while revenue from operations grew 58% to ₹906.2 crore. The company’s EBITDA margin expanded significantly to 16.3%, driven by improved operational leverage and strong growth across its automotive and industrial segments. Semiconductor & OSAT Milestone Kaynes has reached a critical stage in its semiconductor ambitions at the Sanand (Gujarat) OSAT facility. The company recently delivered India’s first commercially manufactured multichip module (IPM5) in collaboration with Alpha & Omega Semiconductor. Mass production and full-scale commercial deliveries are scheduled to begin in January 2026, with a roadmap to launch over 10 different packaging technologies by 2030. Strategic Acquisitions & Diversification The company has aggressively expanded into high-growth sectors through recent acquisitions. It secured 76% stakes in Aerocaliph Components and Cryo Precision Technologies to bolster its aerospace manufacturing capabilities. Additionally, Kaynes acquired a stake in Tranzmeo IT Solutions to enter the deep-tech and fiber-optic sensing space, reflecting a shift from a service-led EMS model to a product-led ESDM enterprise. Smart Meter Business Strategy Kaynes has announced a strategic pivot in its smart meter segment. The company is exiting the service-led model for smart meters to focus exclusively on manufacturing and supply. This move is intended to streamline operations and reduce the complexities associated with long-term maintenance contracts, aiming to improve the overall cash flow and working capital cycle.
