130 MW Solar Capacity Energised in Bharuch On August 18, 2026, KPI Green Energy announced the successful commissioning of an additional 130 MW AC / 195 MW DC solar capacity under its 370 MW AC / 677 MW DC wind-solar hybrid Independent Power Producer (IPP) project in Bharuch, Gujarat. With this latest phase operational, cumulative capacity energized under the hybrid project reached 269.7 MW AC / 389.7 MW DC, developed under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). Q1 FY27 Financial Results & Profitability On August 11, 2026, KPI Green Energy reported its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). Total consolidated revenue/income rose 15.6% year-on-year to ₹709.82 crore (revenue from operations at ₹693.84 crore), with operating EBITDA growing 21% YoY to ₹262 crore. However, consolidated net profit (PAT) declined 15.0% YoY to ₹94.63 crore (down from ₹111.32 crore in Q1 FY26), impacted by elevated finance charges, module price movements, and plant depreciation. Generation Volume Surge & IPP Portfolio Scale Operational generation from the company's IPP vertical reached 27.9 crore kilowatt-hours (kWh) during Q1 FY27, nearly quadrupling generation compared to the prior-year period and representing over 65% of the total units generated during the entire FY26 fiscal year. The company’s total operational clean energy base expanded to 1.87 GW, supported by an active construction pipeline of 5.07 GW toward its 10+ GW portfolio roadmap for 2030. 200 MW Rajasthan Solar EPC Award On August 17, 2026, KPI Green Energy awarded a domestic turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract valued at ₹116 crore to Advait Greenergy Private Limited. The order covers the complete turnkey design, equipment supply, installation, testing, and commissioning for KPI Green's 200 MW ground-mounted HSAT 33 kV solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, with an execution timeline of 12 months.
