Grasim Industries recently reported a narrowed net loss of ₹288 crore for Q4 FY25, an improvement from ₹441 crore in the same period last year, while revenue increased significantly by 32% to ₹8,926 crore. The company's Finance Committee has also approved a plan to issue non-convertible debentures (NCDs) worth up to ₹1,000 crore through private placement. Grasim's Viscose business achieved a top ranking in Canopy's Hot Button Report 2023 for its commitment to forest conservation and circular solutions. The company has also doubled its Speciality Chemicals capacity and its cement subsidiary, UltraTech Cement, continues significant capacity expansion.
