Financial Results (Q4 FY25 & Full Year FY25):
NMDC reported a 5% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹1,483 crore for Q4 FY25, driven by higher iron ore and pellet sales. Total income also rose by approximately 9% to ₹7,497.17 crore. For the full fiscal year FY25, the net profit increased by over 17% to ₹6,538.82 crore, with total income rising to ₹25,498.84 crore. The company has proposed a final dividend of ₹1 per share, in addition to the interim dividend of ₹2.30 already paid for FY25.
Production and Sales Performance:
NMDC has maintained strong operational performance. In Q4 FY25, iron ore production was 13.31 million tonnes (MT) and sales were 12.67 MT. Looking at April 2025 specifically, NMDC reported a record 15% rise in iron ore production, reaching 4 MT, and a 3% growth in sales to 3.63 MT, marking its highest-ever April volumes since inception. This strong start to FY26 is attributed to robust performance from its key mines.

NMDC's management, led by Chairman and Managing Director Amitava Mukherjee, is focused on consistent year-on-year progress, aiming to achieve a milestone of 100 MTPA (Million Tonnes Per Annum) in the next five years.
