Q1 FY26 Results and Board Meeting Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is scheduled to announce its financial results for the first quarter of FY26 this week. A board meeting is planned for Tuesday, August 12, 2025, to consider and approve the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company's trading window for dealing in its securities has been closed since July 1, 2025, and will remain so until Thursday, August 14, 2025. Operational and Project Updates A recent crude oil well blowout in Assam's Sivasagar district, which caused a gas leak, has been successfully capped after 16 days. This was a major operational issue that has now been resolved. In a separate development, a new mandate has been put in place regarding safety margins on lands where ONGC pipelines and wells are located. The new rules expand the buffer zones, which has reportedly halted development on over 300 hectares of land in and around Ahmedabad.
