Financial Performance Petronet LNG has released its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company reported a net profit of ₹850.58 crore for the quarter, which was a decrease from the same period last year. Its total income for the quarter was ₹12,096.46 crore, also a decline from the previous year. The company's total revenue for the full fiscal year 2025 was ₹51,755 crore, with a net profit of ₹3,972.68 crore. Projects and Strategic Expansions The company is moving forward with major expansion plans. The Dahej LNG terminal expansion, which will add an additional 5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) to its current 17.5 MTPA capacity, is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. This will be followed by the full commissioning of the expanded capacity in early 2026. The company is also venturing into the petrochemical sector with a new plant in Dahej, which is estimated to cost ₹20,685 crore. Another key project is the development of a new land-based LNG import terminal in Gopalpur, Odisha, with a capacity of 5 MTPA. Corporate and Investment Updates Petronet LNG is seeking a loan of at least ₹12,000 crore to fund its expansion into petrochemicals and the new Gopalpur terminal. The company recently signed a long-term regasification agreement with Performance Chemiserve Ltd, a subsidiary of Deepak Fertilisers, for its Dahej terminal. Petronet has also been making key corporate announcements, including the schedule for its 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on September 24, 2025. The company's management has participated in recent analyst and investor meetings.
