Strong Financial Performance: PFC continues to demonstrate robust financial health. For FY25, the PFC Group recorded its highest-ever annual Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs. 30,514 crore, a 15% increase from FY24. The consolidated loan asset book also grew by 12% to over Rs. 11 lakh crore. Notably, the asset quality significantly improved, with consolidated Gross NPA reducing to 1.64% and Net NPA reaching its lowest level at 0.38% in FY25. The Board has also recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.05 per share, bringing the total dividend for FY25 to Rs. 15.80 per share.
Strategic Project Development & Green Financing: PFC is actively incorporating Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) companies to facilitate the development of power transmission infrastructure across India. Recently, "Wagdari Transmission Limited" was incorporated for a project in Maharashtra's Solapur district, and "Kurnool IV REZ Power Transmission Limited" for a project in Kurnool, aimed at bolstering renewable energy transmission. PFC is also heavily invested in green financing, securing a substantial JPY 120 billion (approx. Rs 6,600 crore) loan from Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) under its "GREEN" initiative to fund renewable energy projects in India, further cementing its role as a key financier in India's clean energy transition.
Ongoing Initiatives and Partnerships: Beyond financial results, PFC is involved in various strategic partnerships and initiatives. They recently signed an MoU with the Government of Gujarat to provide Rs. 25,000 crore in financial backing for the state's power projects. PFC also actively manages its portfolio, including addressing cases like the Gensol loan where they have classified it as fraud and made provisions.
