Prince Pipes and Fittings Latest Updates

PRINCEPIPE
Recent updates for Prince Pipes and Fittings, following their February 2026 reports, are summarized below: Q3 FY26 Financial Performance The company reported a revenue of ₹573 crore, a marginal 1% dip year-on-year. While volume grew by 3% to 42,575 metric tons, profitability was impacted by a significant inventory loss of ₹18–20 crore due to PVC price volatility. Consequently, the company posted a net loss of ₹2 crore for the quarter, which included an exceptional expense of ₹2.05 crore related to provisions for new labour code implementation. New Launches and Branding Prince Pipes expanded its portfolio with new water storage solutions, including the Storefit HYDRA (four-layered) and Storefit COOL tanks. They also introduced a new brand campaign, "India Ki Pragati Ka Taj," to increase visibility among contractors and engineers. In the bathware segment, a cashback reward program was launched via WhatsApp to incentivize plumbers and strengthen loyalty. Working Capital and Efficiency There has been a notable improvement in operational efficiency. Working capital days were reduced to 66 days from 90 days a year ago. This improvement was driven by a decrease in inventory days (from 102 to 76 days) through increased domestic sourcing and shorter lead times, alongside a reduction in receivable days. Manufacturing Expansion The company successfully commissioned Phase 2 of its manufacturing unit in Bihar, which is expected to enhance its distribution reach in the Eastern region. Additionally, Prince Pipes was selected as the preferred supplier for piping and cable ducting solutions for the Navi Mumbai Airport project, highlighting its growing presence in large-scale infrastructure.
